Leadership Development

NCL is committed to the development of our members as leaders.Leadership development programs continue through our six-year curriculum, and it provides foundational knowledge and tools to improve life skills and leadership skills. Chapter members hold leadership positions each year including president, vice president of programs, vice president of philanthropy, recording secretary, corresponding secretary, parliamentarian, and Ticktocker Council representative. Members engage in activities and experiences that build essential leadership skills, such as conflict resolution and parliamentary procedure. Other leadership development activities include:

Our programs build and maximize Ticktockers’ potential to be confident role models by embracing “who they are,” which empowers their personal sense of purpose, and increases their ability to be more effective advocates for others. Our intent is to enhance potential leadership skills through team building, problem solving, mentoring, and group dynamics.
